The 2026 feast has passed. It was on Sunday 5 July 2026. We will add the next date when the Archdiocese publishes its list of feasts. We do not guess dates.
The feast of St Paul is celebrated by the Rabat parish, Malta. Festa celebrations usually build over several days before the feast day, with band marches, street decorations, a procession and fireworks.
In Maltese the feast is San Pawl, in Ir-Rabat.
The detailed programme and times are TBC until the parish publishes them. The date comes from the Archdiocese of Malta's list of feasts for 2026.

How a festa works
Il-festa
The feast
The main feast day is usually a Sunday, but the celebrations build over the week or more before it.
Marċ
Band march
The village band parades through the streets. The livelier marches are usually in the evening.
Murtali tal-art
Ground fireworks
Catherine wheels and ground displays, usually late on the night before the feast day.
Murtali tal-ajru
Aerial fireworks
Classic aerial shells. Some parishes fire them during the day too, just for the noise.
Purċissjoni
Procession
The saint's statue is carried through the decorated streets on the feast day evening.
Qubbajt
Festa nougat
Sold from stalls on every festa street.
